Medvis Award 2018
Background and Call for Participation
Since 2004, the VCBM group awards every two years the Karl-Heinz Höhne Award for outstanding work in the area of Visual Computing in Biology and Medicine in cooperation with Brainlab, GI and CURAC. We are awarding the price to an innovative work that focuses on visual computing technologies that are related to medical and biological questions. The award is endowed with 1,000 EUR.
Besides the presentation of new methods, contributions dealing with validation and evaluation of methods and solving biomedical problems through a “clever” combination and parameterization of existing methods are very welcome, too.
Participation and Application
If you are a young scientist, please apply with a diploma or Master's thesis, or with up to two publications (published or to be reviewed) related to Visual Computing in biology or medicine.

Please note: the ConfTool Submission System has been conceptualized for conferences (rather than awards) and it is not possible to amend the user interface. For this reason, please insert your name only in the “authors” field, and a title for your contribution in the “title” field. The reviewers will consider your .zip package, which needs to contain all relevant documents. Thanks!
